Who We Are...

Located in Raleigh, NC, we are one of hundreds of national/international chapters that make up the Southern Cruisers Riding Club. Comprised of thousands of members, the Southern Cruisers is an all brand club. It's not what we ride, but that we ride that brings us together. We try to have a variety of rides, such as local day rides, charity events, multi-chapter rides, and overnight/weekend rides. If you love to ride, are looking for a fun, family oriented riding club, or just someone to ride with, the Southern Cruisers is for you.

There are no dues for the riding club. We do ask however, that you:
- Always Ride Safe and According to the Group Riding Rules
- Don't Give the Club a Bad Name
- Support the Club and Chapter

Anyone interested in taking on a chapter "leadership role" (ie: Road Captain, Tail Gunner, Ride Leader, Safety Officer, Second Officer, or even First Officer)? If you want to step up go to www.southerncruisers.net/constitution.htm and read what SCRC national expects from officers (and members).

Then read the ride guidelines: www.southerncruisers.net/newriding.htm. They aren't "rules" but guides, but it does explain the role of ride leader better.

Finally, there is the "code of conduct": southerncruisers.net/coc.htm

"Road Captain/ride leader" is a good place to start... but you don't have to be a "Road Captain" to lead a ride. Just be willing to step up. You WILL miss a turn... and do a U-turn... everyone does... it's part of the "fun" and who knows... it could lead to a funny "road name".
